What it actually looks like to work together.

Sessions, fees, and how things work. All here, before you have to ask.

Who this is for

If you know what you are going through or not, therapy is here to help you find out.

What to expect

45 minutes. Once a week. Online.

45

Minutes per session

Per week, to start

Online, via Google Meet

1

Getting to know each other

We build rapport and I ask about what's brought you here, a little about your background, and what you're hoping for. By the end, we have a sense of your goals and whether continuing makes sense.

2

Going deeper

We explore what surfaced in the first session in more detail. We start to set a working direction and concrete goals for the weeks ahead.

3+

The ongoing work

Each session builds on the last. We review what shifted, what didn't, discuss new insights, and adjust the approach as we go. Progress is the measure, not the calendar.

What you need

A private space, water, a reliable internet connection, and a notebook if you like to capture things as they surface. That's it. No commute, no waiting room.

How I work

Narrative. Flexible. Practical.

My approach brings together narrative thinking and psychological flexibility. We look at the stories you carry about yourself and your situation: not to rewrite them falsely, but to examine whether they're still serving you. We expand what's possible to consider, challenge what's become rigid, and find practical ways through whatever you're dealing with.

Therapy at Soulease is a customised experience. Sometimes a clear structure helps: goals, direction, and week-by-week progress. Sometimes that structure gets in the way of more open-ended exploration. We figure out what works as we go, and you're always welcome to say if something isn't landing.

If cost is a barrier, reach out by email. I keep a small number of reduced-rate spots and we can discuss the scope together.

Common questions

Things people usually want to know.

If you're asking, it probably is. Therapy isn't only for people in crisis. It's useful for anyone who wants to understand themselves better, break out of a pattern, or simply think with someone trained to help. The free 15-minute call is a low-pressure way to find out if this feels right.

We talk. I'll ask about what's brought you here, a little about your background, and what you're hoping for. It's not an assessment or an interrogation. It's a conversation to help us both understand what's going on and whether continuing together makes sense. You don't need to arrive with everything figured out.

It depends on what you're working on. Some people find 6 to 10 sessions gives them what they needed. Others prefer longer-term work. I won't push you to continue beyond what's useful. We check in regularly and you're always free to stop.

Yes. What you share stays between us. There are narrow legal exceptions involving serious, immediate risk of harm to you or someone else. I explain confidentiality fully in the first session. Outside of those circumstances, our work together is completely private. Nothing is shared with family, employers, or anyone else.

For most concerns and most people, yes. The research supports this. The therapeutic relationship is what does the work, and that develops through a screen as well as in a room. Many clients also find online therapy easier to access and more private, which itself contributes to better outcomes.

Yes. I'm equally comfortable working in English and Hindi, and happy to move between both within a session if that feels more natural. You don't need to choose in advance.

Sessions can be rescheduled once for a genuine emergency. If the rescheduled session is missed without notice, it's counted as a session used. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the appointment are not eligible for a refund. Package sessions are non-refundable and valid for 6 months from purchase. Single sessions may be refunded if cancelled with sufficient notice.

That's a conversation we can have. If after our initial sessions it doesn't feel right for either of us, I'll say so honestly and, where I can, suggest someone who might be a better match. You're not locked into anything, and the fit conversation is always welcome.

A single session is a good starting point if you want to meet first and see how things feel before committing. Packages work better for ongoing therapeutic work: they're discounted and come with additional support between sessions. If you're unsure, the 15-minute call is a good time to ask.

Yes. I see clients between 15 and 65. For clients under 18, we'll talk about the appropriate level of parental involvement at the start so everyone's expectations are clear from the beginning.
